FARGO (KFGO) – AAA is bringing back “Tow to Go,” a way to keep impaired drivers off the roads during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
It provides transportation for impaired drivers and their vehicle.
The program will be operational from 6 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Monday in North Dakota. It is not available in Minnesota or South Dakota.
Drivers can call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO. The information is also found on AAA’s social media accounts. The program will provide a ride within a ten mile radius. It should be considered as a last option.
It is free to members and non-members.
The program has been offered for 25 years. AAA believes it has removed more than 25,000 impaired drivers from the roads across.
