DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth East High School football team will have two interim coaches after head coach Joe Hietala was placed on administrative leave.

Hietala is accused of being intoxicated inside the school during a volleyball tournament last Saturday.

Duluth police said parents and staff had concerns and wanted Hietala to be removed. He was not arrested and is not facing any charges.

Bryan Kallevig and Joel Brekken will serve as co-head coaches.
