FRANKLIN, WI – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks downed the Milwaukee Milkmen 6-4 Friday evening.
The RedHawks got on the board first with a Dillon Thomas RBI single that plated Manny Boscan in the top of the fourth to take a 1-0 lead. Thomas would score on a John Silviano putout to lift the ‘Hawks to a 2-0 lead.
Fargo-Moorhead added to the lead on a 3-run home run by Silviano in the top of the sixth inning making it 5-0.
The Milkmen answered in the home half of the sixth inning when Reggie Pruitt Jr. scored on a Bryan Torres RBI double to make it 5-1 ‘Hawks. A 2-run blast by Miguel Gomez cut the RedHawks lead to 5-3 after six innings.
Roy Morales drove in Torres in the bottom of the seventh inning to bring the Milkmen within a run trailing 5-4.
Evan Alexander knocked in Nick Novak with an RBI double in the top of the ninth inning to give Fargo-Moorhead a 6-4 lead.
The RedHawks continue their series with Milwaukee Saturday night, Jack Michaels will have the call, pregame at 5:40 p.m. first pitch 6:00 p.m. on 740 The Fan and 107.3FM.
