ST. PAUL, Minn. – A bill signed into law by Gov. Tim Walz Friday provides $50 million in emergency rental assistance for struggling Minnesotans.
State Housing Commissioner Jennifer Ho said $50 million dollars will allow the department to serve another 20,000 families.
The program usually distributes about $10 million a year in state aid.
