Leonardo DiCaprio is not engaged to girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, despite speculation sparked by photos of her wearing a ring on her left hand. A source confirmed that there is no truth to the rumor that the eternal bachelor has popped the question to Ceretti. It turns out that Ceretti has actually owned the silver ring for some time and just happened to wear it on her ring finger while out for lunch with DiCaprio in Los Angeles at Yuca’s.
The couple has been dating since last summer when they were first spotted making out on a dance floor in Ibiza, Spain. However, there were reports in February that things had cooled off between them after DiCaprio was seen partying with friends Tom Brady and Tobey Maguire during Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas. Despite this, sources insisted that the couple was still together.
Ceretti recently attended Paris Fashion Week, while DiCaprio was busy filming his new movie in Sacramento, California. However, rumors arose during Oscars weekend when the pair were seen out separately in Los Angeles. DiCaprio was at Darren Dzienciol’s Oscars bash with Maguire, while Ceretti was nowhere to be found. Video also circulated of DiCaprio and his co-star Teyana Taylor looking cozy on the dance floor at WME’s pre-Oscars party. Sources were quick to deny any romantic involvement between DiCaprio and Taylor.
Italian model Ceretti was spotted at Vanity Fair’s annual Oscars party solo, while DiCaprio did not attend the event, despite being invited. TMZ reported that the couple is not engaged despite the rumors. DiCaprio, who has famously never been married, has been dating Ceretti since last summer. Ceretti was previously married to Italian DJ Matteo Milleri from 2020 until June 2023. A representative for the couple did not comment on the engagement rumors.
