In Season 11, Episode 4 of “The Masked Singer,” hosted by Billy Bush, Bush was revealed as Sir Lion, the latest celebrity to be unmasked. Despite his lack of singing skills, Bush embraced the challenge and urged others to step out of their comfort zones. The panelists made incorrect guesses about his identity, with Robin Thicke suggesting Anderson Cooper, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg selecting Seth Meyers, Ken Jeong picking Ryan Seacrest, and Rita Ora guessing Andy Cohen.

After Sir Lion and Lizard landed in the bottom two in the voting, they faced off in a smackdown, both performing “Who Are You” by The Who. Sir Lion was eliminated, leaving Lizard, Poodle Moth, and Clock to advance to the next round. Bush, who has been the host of “Extra” since 2019, previously worked for “Access Hollywood” and the third hour of “Today” before being embroiled in controversy during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Among the themed episodes this season are “The Wizard of Oz,” “Transformers,” “Billy Joel Night,” and “Queen Night.” The contestants will perform songs related to different themes, including “Girl Groups,” “TV Theme Night,” and “Shower Anthems.” The show also features new costumes such as “Gumball,” “Ugly Sweater,” “Goldfish,” and “Miss Cleocatra.” The celebrities competing this season have a combined 22 Grammy nominations and 11 platinum albums.

In addition to Sir Lion, other performances in Episode 4 included Clock singing “Good Times” by Blinky and Jim Gilstrap, and Poodle Moth performing “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield. Lizard sang “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?” by Larry Marks. The panelists made various guesses about the identities of the performers, including Stephanie Mills, Debbie Allen, and Janet Jackson for Clock, Melissa McCarthy or Lauren Graham for Poodle Moth, and Michael Bivins or Ray J for Lizard.

The wildcard performer Sir Lion chose to sing “Love and Marriage” by Frank Sinatra, providing clues related to the Flintstones and implying a connection to Betty Rubble. With previous performers on the show including Ne-Yo, John Schneider, and Macy Gray, the competition continues to surprise and entertain viewers. “The Masked Singer” is produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment and based on a South Korean format created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp. The show features showrunner James Breen, Craig Plestis, and Nick Cannon as executive producers.
