The Los Angeles Super Court has denied Christian Richard’s request for a restraining order against his wife, Christine Quinn, of “Selling Sunset” fame. The court stated that there was no reasonable proof of past abuse, and another hearing is scheduled for April 17. Richard claimed that Quinn had lied to the police about a domestic violence incident that led to his arrest, but he disputed her account of what happened, particularly regarding their dogs and childcare preferences.

According to court documents, Richard alleged that Quinn refused to house train their dogs, leading to an unsanitary living environment with dog feces and stained linens throughout their home. He also claimed that Quinn wanted 24-hour nanny coverage for their son, which he felt was unnecessary. The couple argued about the dogs urinating on Richard’s valuables, leading him to throw a bag against a wall, but he denied throwing a glass bottle as Quinn had alleged.

After the incident, police arrived at the couple’s home with guns drawn in response to a domestic dispute call. Richard was seen being placed into a police vehicle in handcuffs, but he maintains that there was no broken glass in the room. He accused Quinn of fabricating allegations of domestic abuse to gain an advantage in any potential divorce and custody proceedings. Subsequent police visits revealed a security breach at the couple’s home.

Richard was arrested for a second time for violating a restraining order shortly after his initial arrest. He and Quinn have been married since 2019, with their lavish wedding featured on “Selling Sunset.” Quinn left the show before its sixth season, and the couple’s legal battles have become public.
