The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has named Bridgette Wilder as the chief people and culture officer, a newly created position within the organization. Her background includes experience as the vice president and chief human resources officer at the California Institute of the Arts, as well as positions at other institutions of higher education and Verizon. Wilder’s diverse experience prepares her well for the challenges and opportunities that come with her new role at the Academy.
