Brianne Weiss delivered an outstanding performance for Orange Lutheran’s softball team, throwing her sixth career no-hitter and striking out 19 batters in a 7-0 victory over Rio Mesa. In a second game on the same day, Vista Murrieta defeated Orange Lutheran 5-1. In baseball, San Clemente emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over San Juan Hills, thanks to Mike Erspamer’s walk-off two-run home run in the 10th inning. Calabasas also secured a win with a 2-1 victory over Newbury Park, highlighted by AJ Seidel’s two-run triple in the sixth inning.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame dominated Camarillo with an 11-0 victory, led by John Trainor’s three hits and a stellar pitching performance from their team. Harvard-Westlake also secured a win, defeating Chaminade 4-1 with Duncan Marsten pitching six scoreless innings and recording nine strikeouts. El Dorado emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Murrieta Valley, with Travis Maxwell striking out nine batters in five innings. Bishop Alemany defeated Riverton 4-2, with Max Alvarez hitting a three-run home run to lead his team to victory.

Corona showcased their strength with an 11-3 win over Corona Santiago, with Anthony Murphy and Seth Hernandez hitting home runs and Sam Burgess contributing three hits. In a close matchup, Cypress defeated Canada Vauxhall 4-1, led by John Short’s two-run double. Loyola secured a 5-2 win over Cathedral, with James Dell’Amico recording two hits and two RBIs for the Cubs. Mater Dei emerged victorious with a 9-1 win over San Marcos, with Brody Connors hitting a home run and Wylan Moss striking out nine batters in four shutout innings.

Trabuco Hills secured an 11-4 victory over Long Beach Millikan, with Evan Hall contributing two hits and three RBIs for his team. Oaks Christian defeated Agoura 6-1, with Ty Hanely throwing a complete game and striking out seven batters. Damien emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Upland, led by a shutout performance by Nathan Ries. In a tight contest, Westlake edged out Thousand Oaks 1-0 in the 11th inning, capitalizing on an error for the winning run.
