Avoya Travel announced that the 2023 Avoya Conference, scheduled to take place September 24 – October 1, 2023, onboard the Discovery Princess, sold out less than one week after registration opened, with the highest cabin categories selling out in less than 24 hours.
The event will be Avoya’s first-ever conference onboard Princess Cruises and Avoya’s first conference in Alaska. The unprecedented demand resulted in the fastest sellout in Avoya Conference history and the event is now projected to be Avoya’s largest-ever conference at sea.
Avoya attributes the extraordinary demand to its recent commitment to growing the Avoya Network at an aggressive rate coupled with above-industry levels of engagement from the Independent Agencies in the Avoya Network. Due to the expected growth of the Avoya Network over the coming months, in addition to the number of Independent Agencies already on the waitlist for a cabin, Avoya is hoping to secure even more cabins for the 2023 Avoya Conference than the original allotment.

Thanks in part to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from the Avoya Network and Avoya’s preferred suppliers on the hybrid format employed for the 2022 Avoya Conference, 2023 will also feature a virtual segment from August 28 – 31. As with the 2022 Avoya Conference, the virtual portion in 2023 will feature mainly brand and product education, leaving the in-person event to focus on valuable face-to-face interactions like networking and developing collaborative working relationships between Independent Agencies, Avoya’s preferred suppliers, and Avoya support staff.
New to Avoya’s offerings this year is a two-day event pre-conference dubbed “The Million Dollar Showcase”, an invitation-only event offered to those Independent Agents in the Avoya Network that generate at least $1 Million in leisure sales between July 2022 and June 2023. Qualifying network members will enjoy a complimentary all-inclusive experience in Seattle leading up to the 2023 Avoya Conference in addition to a free balcony cabin onboard the Discovery Princess for the conference.
