Fox Entertainment has implemented a restructuring of its operations, splitting them into three divisions: network, studios, and content sales. As a result of this reorganization, Rob Wade, the CEO of Fox Entertainment, has promoted Michael Thorn to president of Fox Television Network and elevated Fernando Szew to head of Fox Entertainment Studios. Both Thorn and Szew will report directly to Wade. Additionally, a search is underway for the head of the sales and licensing unit Fox Entertainment Global, previously overseen by Szew, with Tony Vassiliadis, the executive vice president of FEG, temporarily taking on this role until a permanent replacement is found.

Allison Wallach, who was previously the chief of unscripted content at Fox network, has been moved under Szew to serve as the head of global unscripted programming for Fox Entertainment Studios. Szew will have oversight over all Fox studios, including Bento Box Entertainment, Fox Alternative Entertainment, Fox scripted studios, MarVista Entertainment, Studio Ramsay Global, and Harvey Levin’s entertainment studio TMZ. Formerly the president of scripted at Fox Entertainment, Thorn will now lead the entire network, managing its scripted, unscripted, and casting teams led by various executives in different programming and development areas. Thorn, who champions animated content, will continue to be a member of the Bento Box Entertainment Steering Committee and will work closely with Szew.

Rob Wade expressed his optimism about the restructuring, stating that every division of Fox Entertainment is now positioned for growth and creative excellence as they strive to serve their audiences worldwide. This marks the first major overhaul of Fox Entertainment operations since Wade took over as CEO in October 2022. He had previously been in charge of unscripted and alternative programming for Fox Broadcasting before being chosen to succeed Charlie Collier as CEO. Collier left Fox Entertainment to become the head of Roku Media. The new structure is a significant step for Fox Entertainment as they prepare to move forward with their enhanced operational framework under the leadership of Wade.

Overall, the restructuring of Fox Entertainment includes three main divisions: network, studios, and content sales. Rob Wade, the CEO of Fox Entertainment, has made key promotions within the organization, appointing Michael Thorn as president of Fox Television Network and Fernando Szew as head of Fox Entertainment Studios. They will both report directly to Wade, who is overseeing the transition. The search for the head of sales and licensing unit Fox Entertainment Global is ongoing, with Tony Vassiliadis currently serving in a temporary capacity until a permanent replacement is found. With these changes, Fox Entertainment aims to enhance its operations and better serve its audience.
