Ariana Madix will reportedly get custody of the pooch she previously shared with ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval during their nearly-decade-long relationship.
After it emerged that the “Vanderpump Rules” star has been having an affair with their co-star Raquel Leviss, sources tell People that Madix will be keeping the gray and white pit mix.
.”They got the dog together, but Ariana is more of a dog person,” a source told the outlet. “It’s more Ariana’s than Tom’s. I can’t see her letting Tom take the dog or giving it away.”
“It’s her dog, and she plans on keeping it,” another source close to the Bravolebrity added.
Madix and Sandoval, who started dating in 2013, adopted the dog, whose name is Mya Moon, in April 2020, according to Bravo.
She even made an Instagram account for the pooch, which now boasts nearly 2,000 followers, and proudly states that Madix is her mom.
What’s more, the pet has seemingly unfollowed Sandoval on the platform.
Page Six has reached out to Madix’s reps for comment.
Earlier this month, Madix finally broke her long-awaited silence after finding out that her longtime boyfriend had been having an affair with Leviss for about six months.
The reality star said she’s been “devastated and broken” since finding out the news, but thanked her friends and fans for “the outpouring of love and support.”

A source told Page Six at the time that Madix was “blindsided” by the dalliance and had “no idea there were any issues” between her and Sandoval.
Adding insult to injury, Madix “found out” about the pair’s “full-on affair” on March 1 while attending Sandoval’s cover band’s show, where he gushed about “respecting” his now-ex-girlfriend.
As news of the full-blown affair came to light, both Sandoval and Leviss issued social media statements, respectively.
“I want to apologize to Ariana. I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love,” Sandoval wrote in part earlier this month.
For her part, Leviss issued a lengthy statement in which she blamed the affair on her “addiction” to love and vowed to do better from here on out.
“I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved,” she wrote.
