The man seen skinny-dipping with Ariana Madix in the “Vanderpump Rules” mid-season trailer spoke out to clarify that he’s not a romantic interest for the newly single reality star.
“It’s me, hi. I am the one naked in the pool with Ariana, and I am gay, so I’m glad we could clear that up,” Brett Kenyon shared on TikTok Monday.
“Make sure you guys support my friend’s show on Wednesdays on Bravo,” he continued.
“It’s called ‘Vanderpump Rules’ if you’ve never heard of it and have been living under a rock for the past 10 years.”
In the caption, Kenyon added, “yes, it’s me skinny dipping & yes i’m 💅🏻🏳️🌈.”
Responding to commenters, the video creator joked that he could “play straight” for anyone who would want to cast him in a scripted series.
On a more serious note, Kenyon provided some insight into the headline-making trailer by confirming that his scene with a topless Madix was actually filmed prior to the reveal of her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s affair with their co-star Raquel Leviss.
“I didn’t film anything post affair but from what I can tell, yes of course it seems like it is!” he wrote back to a fan who wanted to know whether the footage was cut in a misleading way.
In the dramatic teaser, Madix, 37, can be seen telling Sandoval, 40, “to die” after finding out about his dalliance with her close friend, which has been dubbed “Scandoval.”
“I wish we both would’ve tried harder,” Sandoval tells Madix during the same emotional conversation.
Madix then spits back at the cover band frontman that he doesn’t “deserve one f–king tear” of hers given that he carried on a full-blown relationship with another woman.

Elsewhere in the jaw-dropping trailer, co-star Scheana Shay jokingly calls Leviss, 28, a “home-wrecking whore” — presumably before she allegedly assaulted the former beauty queen for betraying Madix.
Leviss received a temporary restraining order against Shay, 37, following the alleged altercation. Shay’s attorney slammed Leviss as a “liar and a cheat” following the accusations.
“Scheana never punched Rachel, period,” the lawyer said in a statement to Page Six earlier this month, using Leviss’ real first name.
