Austin Butler is ready to pass the Elvis Presley torch to his girlfriend Kaia Gerber’s ex Jacob Elordi.
The “Elvis” star, who is arguably the world’s strongest committer to the bit, shot down any speculation that there is bad blood between him and the “Euphoria” hunk, who will also play the King of Rock and Roll on the big screen.
“I just wish him all the best,” Butler told Variety on Tuesday at the 2023 Golden Globes, where he won the award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama for his acclaimed portrayal of Presley.
“We haven’t spoken, but I hope he has a great time,” the “Carrie Diaries” alum added, referencing Elordi’s upcoming turn in the Priscilla Presley biopic “Priscilla.”
Playing the “Jailhouse Rock” singer is not the only thing that Butler, 31, and Elordi, 25, have in common: They both have dated Gerber.
Butler packed on the PDA with the model, 21, on Tuesday, with a reporter catching the couple passionately making out backstage while celebrating the actor’s big win.
Butler also made headlines at the awards show for continuing to talk like Elvis during his acceptance speech — despite production on the Baz Luhrmann-directed film wrapping in March 2021.
“I don’t know literally anything about Austin Butler at all, but does he ‘actually’ talk like this #GoldenGlobes,” one Twitter user asked.
“Is Austin Butler going to sound like Elvis forever or?” another tweeted.
Page Six confirmed Butler and Gerber were dating in January 2022 after her breakup with Elordi two months prior.
The “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star and the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in May 2022 and have continued to make public appearances together.
Butler previously dated Vanessa Hudgens for almost 10 years, but they called it quits in January 2020. Elordi, meanwhile, has been linked to Joey King, Zendaya and most recently Olivia Jade Giannulli.
