Camilla Parker Bowles abruptly canceled her “Today” show interview with Jenna Bush Hager Thursday morning and “rushed” to be by Queen Elizabeth II’s side in Balmoral, Scotland, amid health concerns.

“We’re here at the Dumfries House which is in Southeast Scotland,” Bush Hager, 40, said in an emotional update outside of the home. “I was invited here to sit down with her Royal Highness, Camilla.”

The “Today” show correspondent explained that she was “just hours away” from the interview when the Duchess of Cornwall and her husband, Prince Charles, “took off to go see her Majesty the Queen in Balmoral.”

“This is not something they do lightly. They have schedules that are packed full of events for philanthropy,” Bush Hager explained.

“Our interview was just one of many things the Duchess had in her calendar today, so we know from the Palace that this is not something they would do lightly.”

Bush Hager emotionally added that the “whole United Kingdom is thinking about the Queen” and there is definitely a “somber feeling here in Scotland today.”

“I had got to spend some time with his royal highness Prince Charles last night,” Bush Hager clarified, although it’s unsure if that chat was filmed or will be released.

Bush Hager, who can relate to the royals with the 2018 death of her grandfather President George H. W. Bush, said that she knows “public grieving is a very difficult thing.”

“Their thoughts are with their mother,” she concluded. “She’s the Queen to the world, and she is his precious mother to him.”

Parker Bowles, who will take on the “Queen Consort” title when the time comes, was supposed to chat with “Today” about her “initiatives with reading.”

Prince Charles and Parker Bowles are among many other members of the royal family who are currently by the 96-year-old’s Queen’s side, including Prince William, Prince Edward, his wife, Sophie, and Prince Andrew.

Prince Harry is currently en route, though Page Six confirmed his wife, Meghan Markle, will not immediately join the family.

Meanwhile, William’s wife, Kate Middleton, will stay home as their three children started school on Wednesday.

As Page Six reported Thursday morning, Buckingham Palace released a statement revealing the Queen was placed under “medical supervision” but “remains comfortable.”

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” the statement read.

Charles, 73, is next in the line of succession.
