Kevin Federline was seen for the first time since leaking video footage of ex-wife Britney Spears allegedly arguing with their sons.
Paparazzi caught the former backup dancer, 44 — who shares Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, with the pop icon, 40 — driving his black Mercedes around Los Angeles on Thursday.
The sighting came hours after Spears’ lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, slammed Federline for “violating” his superstar client in an exclusive statement to Page Six.
“Britney Spears is a brilliantly-talented, extremely-hardworking icon, who is rightfully beloved and respected by millions around the world,” the former federal prosecutor said.
“The same, unfortunately, cannot be said about Mr. Federline, who for reasons that are inexplicable, decided to give a gratuitous interview that has hurt the mother of his children.”
Rosengart noted that the “Lucky” singer has “faithfully supported” her children and “loves them dearly.”
“Whether he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of the mother of his children, he has undermined his own children, whose privacy he should protect,” added the high-powered attorney, who helped free Spears from her 13-year conservatorship in November 2021.
On Wednesday night, Federline attempted to disparage Spears’ character by posting videos of private moments with their boys when they were 12 and 11.
“I can not sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos,” he captioned the three clips.
“This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this.”
A source from Spears’ camp exclusively told Page Six in response to the posts at the time, “Kevin is disgusting. He is weaponizing the kids by releasing the videos. But in these clips, Britney is just being a mom.”
In the clips, Spears can be heard scolding her kids for not putting on lotion or wearing their shoes outside. In one instance, she demanded respect from Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Rosengart claimed to Page Six that Federline may have broken the law by posting videos in which Spears did not know she was being recorded since California is a two-party consent state.
“In addition to demeaning himself and violating societal norms, he has now also created various legal issues for himself including, but not limited to, implicating cyber-harassment and cyber-bullying statutes, among other things,” the Los Angeles-based lawyer explained.
Federline’s attorney did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Rosengart’s statement. However, it appears the “Popozão” rapper regrets sharing the videos as they have since been deleted from his Instagram page.
Spears recently explained how challenging it has been to co-parent with Federline after he shared in a preview for an ITV interview that Sean Preston and Jayden James have decided “not to see” their mother for “a few months.”
The Grammy winner called the claims “hurtful” on Instagram. She added later that her sons would act “hateful” towards her during visits.
Spears and Federline were married from 2004 until 2007. The father of six also shares Kori, 20, and Kaleb, 18, with ex Shar Jackson, and Jordan, 10, and Peyton, 8, with current wife Victoria Prince.
Spears tied the knot with Sam Asghari in June after nearly six years together. Before Federline, she was married to childhood friend Jason Alexander for a mere 55 hours in 2004.
