Prince William and Kate Middleton hit a home run as they dialed up the glamour at Boston’s Fenway Park for their glitzy Earthshot Prize ceremony Friday night.

Babe Ruth previously said to “never allow the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game” and the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 40, made sure to shrug off any issues with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix trailer and the royal racism row as they stepped on to the green carpet in Boston.

Middleton wore a floor-length bright green gown by Solace London, which she rented for $100 from the website HURR, and paired it with an emerald choker from her mother-in-law, Princess Diana, and earrings from her own private collection.

The royal couple marked the end of a busy few days as they attended the awards show, which is a passion project for William.

The ceremony featured performances from Billie Eilish, Chloe x Halle and Annie Lennox — as well as a surprise appearance from former England soccer star David Beckham, a longtime close friend of William, who flew in from London to hand out a prize.

Ellie Golding, who had brunette tresses for the award ceremony, also did a surprise performance for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Fans will know that the British singer also performed at their wedding back in 2011.

Launched by William in 2020 and inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s iconic “Moonshot” challenge, The Earthshot Prize, now the world’s most prestigious environmental prize, aims to come up with creative solutions to climate change.

Five winners from around the globe scooped $1.2 million each at the awards ceremony, where William called for support to increase the global impact of their work.

The five Earthshot categories included: Protect and Restore Nature, Clean our Air, Revive our Oceans, Build a Waste-free World and Fix our Climate.

Speaking during the ceremony, The Prince of Wales said, “I believe that the Earthshot solutions you have seen this evening prove we can overcome our planet’s greatest challenges. And by supporting and scaling them, we can change our future.

“Alongside tonight’s winners and finalists, and those to be discovered over the years to come, it’s my hope the Earthshot legacy will continue to grow, helping our communities and our planet to thrive.”

The winners included Mukuru Clean Stoves from Kenya, a female-founded start-up providing cleaner-burning stoves to women in Kenya to reduce unhealthy indoor pollution and provide a safer way to cook — as well as Kheyti from India, which offers a pioneering solution for local smallholder farmers to reduce costs, increase yields and protect livelihoods in a country on the frontlines of climate change.

Indigenous Women of the Great Barrier Reef from Australia, a women-led program that combines 60,000 years of indigenous knowledge with digital technologies to protect land and sea also scooped a prize — as did Notpla from the UK, which offers an alternative to plastic packaging from seaweed.

Earlier Friday, William met President Biden at the JFK Library, where he was greeted by Ambassador Kennedy, her children, Tatiana and Jack Schlossberg, and her husband, Edwin Schlossberg.

Middleton, on the other hand, attended her first solo engagement of the three-day US trip with a visit to Harvard, where she learned more about her own passion — early learning.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were set to leave Boston on a British Airways flight late Friday night to head home to their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
