Valentino to the rescue.
Zendaya rocked a sparkly black trouser suit as she attended the opening of the Bulgari Hotel Roma opening in Rome last night, but it turns out her sleek outfit was a last-minute surprise.
In fact, the “Euphoria” star, 26, revealed on her Instagram Story that her original ensemble for the soiree never actually showed up.
“Fun fact…my dress for tonight’s @bulgarihotels event got lost in transit, so we got this suit an hour before the event,” she captioned her Story, which showed a photo of herself wearing an oversized black Valentino blazer and coordinating trousers.
“When in doubt…a @maisonvalentino suit 🙂 @luxurylaw,” Zendaya added, tagging stylist Law Roach — who recently announced his retirement from fashion — in the post.
In a video, she showed off how the silver flecks on the jacket and pants sparkle in the light, turning from side to side as she poses for the camera.
Underneath her suit, the “Greatest Showman” star wore a chainmail-style tank top covered in crystals, with the actress appearing to wear a pair of pasties underneath.

Zendaya — who showed off a glowy makeup look with plenty of bronzer — wore her hair in a side swept, flipped-up ‘do, sporting a dazzling diamond watch, rings and earrings from Bulgari along with black pointed-toe pumps.
The former Disney actress joined fellow Bulgari ambassador Priyanka Chopra at the event, who sported a dramatic white Giambattista Valli dress with a high slit and feathered trim.
This is the second glam Bulgari moment Zendaya has had in the past month, with the “Dune” star donning one of the brand’s diamond Serpenti necklaces and a black off-the-shoulder gown as she walked sat front row at the brand’s presentation of their new wares in Venice on May 16.
It seems like her MIA dress had a silver lining, after all.
