Following the opening of Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya in January 2022 and in anticipation of Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort debut, the Hilton is pleased to announce two new members of its management team: Giancarlo Goeta, as Commercial Director, who joins to oversee both the Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya and neighboring Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort, and Felix Schlokat, who joins the all-inclusive resort as Hotel Manager.

As Commercial Director for both hotels, Giancarlo Goeta is responsible for sales performance metrics and works closely with the entire Hilton Worldwide Sales engine teams to identify new opportunities and target customers. Working to drive awareness for the company’s newest ventures in Tulum and in the all-inclusive space with key consumer audiences, Goeta will secure visibility in Mexico and throughout the international market.

For the past decade, Goeta has held the position of Regional Director of Sales and Marketing with Hilton for the Caribbean and Latin America. In this role, he oversees the region’s newly created resorts in the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, providing key hotel support for properties’ pre-opening and ramp-up processes.

His impressive industry background spans over 30 years and encompasses every aspect of hotel and business operations. Goeta has been a part of Hilton since the beginning of his career, where he first started out as a Front Office Clerk and quickly rose to Director of Sales and Marketing, overseeing multiple Hilton properties such as Hilton Margarita & Suites, Hilton Curacao and Hilton Santo Domingo; honing his skills directing commercial efforts for property pre-openings, managing deployment strategies, and developing go-to market plans to capitalize revenue opportunities. In 2007, Goeta took on the U.S. market, rising to Regional Director of Leisure Sales in Miami, FL, before coming into his regional role in 2012.

Felix Schlokat – Hotel Manager, Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort

As the Hotel Manager of Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort, the brand’s first-ever all-inclusive offering in the Tulum, Felix Schlokat manages the administration of all day-to-day hotel services and activities at the new 735-room hotel, which is set to open this spring.

Felix Schlokat brings over 12 years of hospitality experience to Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort. After earning his degree in Tourism & Leisure Management in Austria, Schlokat started with Grupo Pinero at Bahia Principe hotels as a Hotel Manager, where he played a crucial role during the hotel group’s rebranding and preopening throughout Mexico and Jamaica before becoming Hotel Manager at Paradisus Hotel Los Cabos.

In 2019, Schlokat successfully launched Nobu Hotel Los Cabos as General Manager before moving to the role of Managing Director for the Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos. Across each role, Schlokat has continued to deliver the best possible service to the most discerning clientele while maintaining core brand values.
