Looks like Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are starting 2023 on good terms.
Amid their highly publicized custody battle – and the actress’ recent split from Harry Styles – the exes were spotted putting on a united front in Los Angeles on Friday.
Wilde, 38, and Sudeikis, 47, were photographed hugging it out in a public parking lot, seemingly paying no mind to onlookers as they exchanged smiles and happily embraced.
The “Don’t Worry Darling” director was dressed casually in a yellow varsity sweatshirt with matching Adidas sneakers and jeans.
Sudeikis also opted for comfort in an off-white hoodie, navy blue pants and a baseball cap.
As previously reported, Wilde called off her seven-year engagement with the “Ted Lasso” star – whom she shares children Otis, 8, and Daisy, 6, with – in fall 2020.
She swiftly moved on with Styles, 28, after the two began working together on “Don’t Worry Darling.” In September 2022, Wilde denied leaving Sudeikis for the former One Direction heartthrob.

“The complete horses–t idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate,” she told Vanity Fair at the time. “Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight.
“I evolved a lot between when I was 27 and 35. I found myself as a director. And I think I found myself as an individual,” she continued. “Sometimes when you evolve, you evolve out of relationships that were based on an earlier version of yourself.”
Wilde further alleged that she and Sudeikis realized their partnership “was no longer beneficial” to their kids after experiencing bumpy challenges “towards the beginning” of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We could be better parents as friends who live in different houses,” she explained, noting, “Haven’t the kids been through enough?”

Wilde and Sudeikis’ battle for custody continued to make several headlines, especially after the actor served his ex-fiancée with custody papers while she was on stage at CinemaCon in April 2022.
“Sadly, it was not something that was entirely surprising to me. I mean, there’s a reason I left that relationship,” Wilde said of the “vicious” move in an August 2022 interview with Variety.
“Unfortunately, I wasn’t that shocked. There’s a reason that I didn’t stay in that relationship. Unfortunately, that was consistent with my experience of the relationship.”
And while things seemed to be going smoothly between Wilde and Styles for awhile, news broke in November 2022 that the two had called it quits.

“There is no bad blood between them. Harry didn’t dump Olivia, or vice versa,” a source told us at the time. “This is the longest relationship Harry’s ever had, so clearly they have a special bond.”
For his part, the “As It Was” singer was recently spotted reuniting with his rumored high school ex, Ellis Calcutt, in London. The two were photographed catching up over coffee earlier this week in pics obtained by Page Six.
The blond beauty previously shared on social media in 2012 that she and Styles were “only good friends” who have been close since high school, per the Daily Mail.
