Russia says it is pulling some of its forces back from its border with Ukraine.
The defence ministry said some western and southern troops would be heading back to their permanent bases after finishing training exercises.
It comes following a warning from Foreign Secretary Liz Truss that a Russian invasion of Ukraine could happen at any time.
A statement from Russia said: “Units of the Southern and Western Military Districts, which have accomplished their missions, are boarding trains and trucks and will head for their garrisons later today.
